Trick Combos

Not much going on in this section as of late so I though I would ask what type of trick combos you guys like to do. An example would be a old favorite of mine that was my first ever combo. It goes, axel or half axel to fade, flare to 540, fly off. Also you can go, axel, fade, flare, 360 then pull back to fade. Tricks in higher winds

I can trick best when the wind is low enough that I can slack the lines with a pop (maybe 5 - 9 mph). In higher wind, I'm having a tough time doing that. I'm short so my arms aren't so long that I can reach deep and pop. (My 14 year old is now 5' 8 1/2" and is now visibly taller.)

I'm having the hardest time popping into turtles. When the wind is really blowing, I can't seem to get enough pop to go into a turtle. (And do vents make it even harder?)

I guess most folks wouldn't call this a trick, but its not as easy as it looks. I'm after a little advanced help, especially on the bottom leg, if its low enough to be a ground pass. In rough inland winds, especially winds that are a bit on the strong side the kite, during the ground pass seems to get bumped around and not stay on its line. I think that's partly because I'm not locking it in enough. Any specific tips on flying straight lines and sharp turns?

I was down at Piper's Lagoon today flying my kite and practising comètes. Then the thought occurred to me, who the heck invented this trick? I guess it was someone French and very imaginative. This, of course, got me starting to think about who invented any particular trick. I think it would be good to know the history of such things. Can you imagine the first time somebody did an axel? or a fade? Did they flare-to-fade or axel-to-fade or what? The mind boggles. Anyway, if anybody knows...

Any of you guys know anything about this trick? I've seen it a one or two recent videos but was woundering just what makes up the trick. Looks like it starts just like a crazy copter but after that I'm kind of lost on what happens.

I was out flying the light saber today, and finally began to get the flac 540 For those of you who haven't seen this, it is a flac like in a flic flac, so from a fade pop it so it flips onto its belly, and then a 540 flat spin.

So, for those having trouble with this trick, here is what I found really helps.

Barrel roll

I was flying the saber today, and was trying to figure out barrel rolls. I know how they look compared o a normal backspin, but how does one do them?It seems to me that just not giving as much slack seems to work somewhat, do I just need to work on refining that input?

Help with Lazy Susans with Revs

I've been working on lazy susans with my rev clone. I can get the turtle and as many rotations as I want, but I can't get it back out of a turtle. Any suggestions?

It's framed in P200 LE and P90 downspars, very light, really easy to fly in no wind.

Ok, Anyone got this one down. I got a few tries at this on Sunday. The first part seemed to work great. The kite would flip right over on its back.
However when I gave the 2nd input for the spin, it would kind of flutter to the ground. Any suggestions?

Ever noticed how just a slight downward action on the input for the cascade helps it rise... well does it? This is where we could really put down some very usefull info mation for advanced inputs and the effects on the kite during slack line trick flying.

The key to this trick is moving towards the kite the entire time and pulling the kite through the motions with 2 inputs per spin.

The yo fade is a pitch trick, nose to tail end over end. It is a backward yo yo which is entered into from a nose down posistion and ends in the fade . That's the link to the video up there... Watch how many crashes and screw ups i deal with
